Shutter Speed

Shutter speed is the light that comes into the picture. By having the shutter opened, we control the shutter speed and control houw much light comes in. Our shutter speed was 15 seconds and the ISO 200. On the second picture we each had an item that lights up bright like an cellphone or ipod. During those seconds we had to move quick to get it correct. My favorite is the first one because it looks awesome and we actally didn't move during those 15 seconds.

Aperture

Aperture is how much light you can get into the picture. It's the local length divided diameter of light. You can see easily the amount of light it captures. The second photograph has a small amount of aperature. The reason is because the hole is not big enough to capture the light. For the first light there's a much bigger hole and the light comes in.

Flash

Some Pros about flash are that it adds light, freezes time, and eliminates blur. Cons are its disturbs subject, ughly lighting situationa and red eyes. Flash would be good to use when there is light, and you would not use flash when its too bright. The photo that I choose does not use flash. Colors are more clear and it does not look fake.

Metering

Light meters measure the amount of light there is in the picture. In the picture where you can only see the computer, I half pressed the button and took it. In the photo I'm focusing on the computer to bring in light so my partner can show up. Spot metering can help me in the future by focusing on anything that I want to show in pictures.

Surrealism

In this dream I see that your in the picture twice, one your sitting on a banana and on the other your on the apple also sitting. Not only your sitting your reading a book. Its just not a simple book, I feel like you have a special connection with this book. Do you read it everyday? If you do that means you have this past that you don't want to let go of, which is your childhood. I'm not saying it's not good to read but you need to move foward from that book. I recommend for you to take a long vacation and explore other books. That book you have, you need to give it to someone that means a lot to you or just simply donate it.

Surreal Practice Tutorial

On the eye tutorial we did many things look real. We changed the eye color by adding two other colors into it. Also we added other layers and popped out the colors more. We added a drop shadow to the butterfly to make it look like its real.

ART SHOW "Laughs are Infinite"

My favorite artwork that I have accomplished is my social issue. There are two girls in a young age. They're at a park. The picture shows that they are glad to be together, on such a beautiful day. They are two sisters laughing, enjoying there free-time, and also shows how much her big sister cares for her by holding the little girl side. The flowers in the background mean that the day was bright, fresh, and beautiful.

To me it means that laughs never end. You can be sad, angry or depressed but someone or something can enlighten your day. When I get sad or angry, I can just go outside and see other many things that enlighten my day. My brother is the one I go to when I need help. We might have our ups and downs but he will always be there for me, as well as I'll be too.

Si Se Puede & Academic Letter Programs

My two programs are simple and readable. My favorite one is my Si Se Puede program. I felt like I put more effort on this one then the other one. I wanted to do a wrinkle background but didn't work out so I just kept it how it is. I took the picture out in the stadium which I had a little trouble cutting it out and take out the lines but it came out good at the end.
My academic letter is my least favorite. The edges on my picture are horrible, the background is plain and ugly and could have been more creative. The only thing I like was the fonts on there.

Personal Quilt

INSIDE

PAST

FUTURE

Trying to find ideas was difficult for me. This project made me focus on my inside, past, and future. My inside quilt was a not hard but not easy. I realized I'm always find myself smiling every moment in life. I enjoy life as it comes and love the way I am. I believe my parents and god are the ones who take me to the correct direction. I added a horse to my saquare because I love them and been in my life. There is a specific horse that I love and is still in the family. It is really significant to me because my grandpa gave it to me before he past away. This project took so much time but it was worth it. Many people found themselves by asking people and family.

My past square is my favorite square. I like how I combined shoes as my friends, and shaped it like a heart. My friends in the past have helped me move foward with no regret. They have always been there for me in the bad and good. My mom is very important in my past. She was there in every little moment when my dad was not. They must of had there ups and downs but now I have both of my parents together. Also my past means to me that whatever happens to continue and never stop. I've been here since 1991 and continue to when god decides to take me.

My future just shows that I want to attend Arizona State University in the future. After graduating high school. Words that I have on there are courage, strength, dream, and believe. I need courage from teachers, family, and friends. Without there help I would be anything. Strength to not give up when I'm stuck in a situation and get help. Every bueatiful thing I dream can become real. The last one is believe. Believing is all up to you, and I do believe at every time I can. I believe in many things like going to school and studying criminal justice to be someone in life, god always being there with me, and no one is powerful to take anything away from you.
